Damaged Wood Floor in Bloomingdale

This Bloomingdale home was unfortunate to have a water damage in their home resulting in their beautiful wood floors being removed. Some water, such as flood water or sewage, carry bacteria that cannot be removed from wood because it has seeped into the pores. Luckily they had insurance to help pay for the damages that needed to be mended.

Our Water Damage Technicians had their work cut out with them but got the job done quickly. Although they were tempted to play with the epic train set that was set up. The homeowner was very pleased with the way the floor turned out in the end.

A hint when it comes to wood floors: Have a mitigation specialist start right away to dry the floor after getting wet. They can be tricky and don't show signs of damage until they swell from underneath in the form of "cupping" or "buckling" which may be too late to save.
