Bacteria in Flood Water Cleanup
Wood Floors Ruined by Flood Water
These floors needed to be torn out because of flood damage. Flood water has bacteria and other contamination from the outside that is soaked up by porous building materials. In the case of this home the drywall and wood floors were removed as part of the flood cleanup process.
Our technicians did quick work by extracting the water to lessen the damage but had to remove the flooring. Exposing the concrete allows it to dry faster. We needed to expose the concrete and brick due to all the water that was trapped behind the drywall and wood floors.
